The Final Chapter

“Hehe...he calls it, "The Return". Very fitting name, yes?”
Thor

The Return, known as The Revelation after Transformation, is a pump-action shotgun that was created by The Son as his new personal weapon after all of his Hosts had merging themselves with him, combining all of their Essenses and Life-Forces. It serves as a visual representation of The Son's realization of who he is.

It made its first appearance in the ending of "Pursuit of Truth" and is a usable weapon in "Ascendance" and in "Prophecy". It returns in the Imperial Reality map "Karneval der Albträume" as a Wonder Weapon attainable as part of its Main Easter Egg.

Features

Weapon Perks

These Weapon Perks are exclusive to "Karneval der Albträume" and do not appear in "Ascendance" and "Prophecy".

Imperial Shells combines Armour-Piercing Shells, Full Metal Jacket Shells, High Explosive Shells and Dragon's Breath Shells altogether. The AP and FMJ Shells penetrate armour and the HE Shells detonate inside, spreading its shrapnel and causes Splash Damage on hard surfaces. The Dragon's Breath Shells causes external Burning that can spread.

This Perk does not gain additional effects when it is Transformed.

This weapon deals x3 more damage against all enemies. When the effects of Imperial Shells affect Wrathborn, this Damage Bonus is increased by x3 against that Wrathborn.

After The Return is Transformed into The Revelation, when Wrath Hunter is active, it will negate the Wrathborn's natural damage resistance against SWVs.

Aiming down sights with this weapon will load a powerful explosive payload that stuns and Weakens the Sentinel Overseer. While it is Weakened, this weapon deals x4 more damage to the Overseer. This Weakened status is active for 0.8 seconds.

Transformation

During Step 4 of the Who Is Mr. Skender? Easter Egg, The Return can be Transformed into an even better version of itself: The Revelation. After becoming The Revelation, it will retain both its previous Weapon Perks, upgrades Divine Judgement and gains one additional Weapon Perk.

Aiming down sights with this weapon will now load an extremely powerful Slug Shell with an explosive payload that will stun and Weaken Wrathborn and the Wrathborn Sentinel. While Wrathborn and the Wrathborn Sentinel are Weakened, they will be vulnerable to all sources of Bonus Damage for the duration of their Weakened state. This Weakened status is active for 1.2 seconds.

When this weapon "defeats" a Bad Patch or kills a Wrathborn, the damage bonus of Wrath Hunter is permanently increased by x2. This effect stacks up to 4. The Revelation has a 50% chance to score Critical Hits when dealing damage. When The Revelation scores a Critical Hit on an enemy, that enemy will explode and causes Chain Reactions and Burning to enemies; Bad Patch and Wrathborn will stagger but still causes an explosion and Burning to nearby enemies.
