Sergeant Thomas Chapman, also known as the "British FNG" and as "JOKER 6-1", is a British member of Task Force: JOKER. He formerly served within the Metropolitan Police Service's Specialist Firearms Command as an AFO until late 2019 when he was recruited into Task Force: JOKER.
From his transfer to SFC to 2017, he took part in numerous raids and missions that involved neutralizing terrorist cells within the UK. In late 2019, the unit he was in assisted SAS Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick in tracking an Al-Qatala cell. In the weeks following the mission, Kyle recommended Chapman for Task Force: JOKER, an organization funded by the 501st Corporation, and was recruited to make use of his skills as a demolitions expert. He was nicknamed the "British FNG" by existing members.
He is a playable character in Modern Warfare: Extinction, and is the leading officer of JOKER 6, otherwise known as Fireteam Foxtrot or "The FNGs".
Personality
Chapman is almost always seen as a calm person, even while under high-pressure situations where others would normally get tense or stressed. As a demolitions expert, he is highly skilled on defusing and armed explosives.
Upon getting settled in with Task Force: JOKER, he immediately became good friends with Corporal Yagovkin Damian Yurievich due to sharing the same views on the use of explosives and the importance of needing explosives during missions where they are necessary.
