Miller is an African American character introduced as a playable character in the Call of Duty: Retribution Legacy Mission First Contact. He also appears in the Retribution's Legacy first issue Legacy, Part I: First Contact as one of the protagonists.

It is unknown whether or not "Miller" is his first or last name, nor what rank he holds. He is part of CIF Team Four led by "Sarge".

Legacy: First Contact

With the town of Caldera Peak in Colorado going dark two weeks after a stray ODIN missile impacted nearby, the United States Army leads an operation to investigate what happened to the towns people. Beginning their search near Gil's Lodge Motel to find it abandoned and most of the rooms being boarded up. With no one around and the place essentially a ghost town, they investigate a mysterious creature from an alleyway and find a pile of dead bodies, and are ambushed shortly after squad member Williams is killed.

After receiving instructions from "Godfather" Castle, Miller and CIF Team Four retreat to the lodge motel where they are ordered to plant a nuclear beacon at the cabin near the crater. Joining them to replace Williams is a special forces soldier from Task Force: STALKER lent by one of their Field Commanders. They continue their mission and successfully plant the beacon, but are unable to activate it and notify "Godfather" as they were met with endless waves of Cryptids and make a last stand in a barn. He is jumped by a group of Scouts, being the second to die after Jane.

Miller along with CIF Team Four and Private are all declared M.I.A. after Task Force Spectre is unable to locate their bodies three hours later.
