A Joker's Debt

During the events of A Joker's Debt, Breach works with Mr. Tachibana and The Drifter in solving and settling their debts with numerous "old friends" and fought against them on several planets and defended The Derelict from the forces of Mrs. Nakamura. Although he voiced his protest about doing the Jokers' work for them, he nonetheless followed through their orders due to Nightstalker.

At some point, Breach became acquainted with an interdimensional being known as The Angel, whom was fighting against Mr. Tachibana for a long time prior and his actions began to be influenced by her. Due to this, she was close to Mr. Tachibana once again and planned to kill his current host, as she was successful in capturing a Nexus Apparition who revealed to her his next host and captured them as well. She waited for a perfect moment to strike.

After settling their debts and celebrating on The Derelict, the Jokers and Ghosts came together and spent their time together partying. The Angel saw this as an excellent opportunity to strike, though since Mr. Tachibana and The Drifter were in separate, identical bodies, Breach could not figure out who was which and instead killed The Drifter, who died from his injuries. He was later executed by Mr. Tachibana out of anger, after he revealed his actions were influenced by his oldest and greatest enemy.
