Background
Rise of the Order
Argo was located in the Rao System, a distant star system lightyears away from the Milky Way Galaxy. The planet was populated by the Argoans, humanoid beings with gifted superpowers. However, several Argoans would be born without powers; one such Argoan, Korin Zel-Dor, radicialized his fellow powerless Argoans, falsly claiming that those with power sought to manipulate the powerless to do their bidding and enslave them. Together, Korin and his powerless Argoans formed the Order, seeking to usurp the Argoans of power and eventually rule the cosmos.
Argoan War
Utilizing the Seal of Metatron that the Order liberated from its hidden chamber within Argo's core after killing its guardian and creator Metatron, Korin sought to use its powers to create a genetic clone of Kara In-Ze, the daughter of the two most powerful Argoans of power on the planet, combining a sample of her DNA absorbed by the Seal in addition to the Seal's own power to create the ultimate weapon to combat the Argoans of power. With the Seal's power, the Order began a ruthless war against the Argoans of power in search of Kara, though the Seal's dark powers would slowly begin to corrupt Argo the more it was utilized.
Eventually, the corruption took its toll on the planet after eighteen years of war, beginning a series of disasters that slowly destroyed Argo. Left with no other choice, Kara's parents hid their daughter on an off-planet space station, where she was cryogenically frozen to ensure she carried on the Argoan legacy in the distant future far out of the reach of the Order. While Argo was completely destroyed, killing virtually all Argoans both powered and powerless, the Order, still determined to fulfill their desires, raided the station in order to secure Kara. Knowing Kara couldn't fall into the Order's clutches, the scientists stationed at the station ultimately made the call to scuttle the station.
In the ensuing carnage, the lab containing Kara's cryochamber was hurled across the universe, where it would land on the planet Earth in October 2014. Simultaneously however, surviving members of the Order trailed the lab to Earth, still seeking to capture Kara, the last Argoan of power, for their plans of intergalactic conquest.
