Proximity Ping is a power perk that appears in the Call of Duty: Eclipse Warfare series. The perk is found in all Call of Duty: Eclipse Warfare III Zombies maps excluding The Return of Ataraxia and Aftermath.

Overview

Proximity Ping, when purchased for 2500 points, will make zombies within close proximity to the player to be highlighted, even through walls. This can be helpful for players who are unaware of a zombie's location and to determine a safe route to go to. The perk can be upgraded into Proximity Ping Pro by killing 200 zombies that are highlighted by Proximity Ping. When upgraded into its pro form, the effects of the highlight will cover a larger distance.

The perk icon features a radar dish emitting a signal. When in its pro form, the perk icon will have a bright purple outline that glows.

• Proximity Ping may have been the inspiration for the canon perk Death Perception, which was introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on October 12th, 2018, nine months after Proximity Ping was introduced on January 17th, 2018.
