Biography

Main Timeline

The unnamed Mob Boss was born in 1917 of Earth-92116. By 1942, the Mob Boss would rise to become the leader of the Los Angeles Crime Family. In 1943, the Mob Boss marked Nate Richard, Francis Hernandez, Emre McElligott and Phil Stewart for termination, and on May 29th, the four would be set up and killed by the Los Angeles Police Department as part of a diversion at Pershing Square.

Years later, the Mob Boss would later die of old age in 2001.

Rip Timeline

As a result of Division One's use of Temporal-Soul Travel, a rip timeline set in the 1940s began to form that threatened to destabilize Earth-92116's stability. In 1943 within this rip timeline, an alternate version of the Mob Boss began plans to rob a bank in Los Angeles with his crime family, instructing Nate Richard, Francis Hernandez, Emre McElligott and Phil Stewart to create a diversion at Pershing Square to draw attention away from the heist; in truth, the Mob Boss was using the opportunity to dispose of the four, as he believed that they could not be trusted.

During the diversion, the four mobsters would witness the beginning of their rip timeline affecting the universal stability of the main Earth-92116 timeline through a tear in the sky. Under the guidance of Roach through radios displaced into their timeline, the four mobsters were able to enter the tear, using it to advance the time of their rip timeline by 32 years to 1975, the year the Summoning Key was originally brought to Earth by Nictis. During the time jump, the Mob Boss had believed the four mobsters had died, unaware of the jump in time.

Unfortunately for the Mob Boss, he would soon be targeted by the four mobsters, who sought to harvest his soul with the Summoning Key, which Roach explained was key to averting the paradox, which required a soul of pure malice and darkness to seal. While the Mob Boss hid out at one of the crime family's production facilities in Vernon, California, the facility would be assaulted by the four mobsters, who learned of the Mob Boss' location through an informant they interrogated in Morro Bay. In the end, the four mobsters murdered their leader, learning that they were originally supposed to die during the diversion in 1943.

With the Mob Boss' soul ensnared within the Summoning Key, the four mobsters used the tear to advance to the end of their timeline in 2031, where they arrived at the Griffith Observatory, the site housing their timeline's Morbid Pillar, an ancient pillar present in all rip timelines designed to close off a timeline manually. Using the Mob Boss' soul, the mobsters power up the pillar, using it to close the tear and create the Fractured Realm, isolating itself from the rest of time. In the process, the Mob Boss' soul was drained of its essence completely and vanished.
