Pendulum is a map created by Crystar800. It is considered a mini-map, as it is one of the smallest Zombies maps in existence. Pendulum is a map focused around lurking death, with the player fearing death from multiple angles. In order to create this fear, the map is for Solo players only.

Summary
Pendulum features a single large ballroom. Almost tauntingly, the ballroom music plays repeatedly throughout the map in a constant stream. The music cannot be turned off within the map itself, although it can turned off beforehand. The room has no furniture whatsoever. The floor is a pale gray, with blood splatters in areas.
The main feature of this map is the large pendulum swinging above, that hangs on the ceiling. Early in the match, the player shall realize that this pendulum shall eventually lower far enough that it will be almost unavoidable, with a likely death to follow.
Besides the Pendulum, the pit in the middle of the floor is to be avoided. The pit is not steep enough to kill the player on impact, but leaves no method of escape for the player. The Zombies will soon jump down and devour them swiftly.
The Zombies themselves are not that plentiful. They do not come in rounds. The player must be careful to avoid the pendulum and pit while fighting them off. Their entry point is through a window on the left side of the room, with another window right across from it on the other side of the room.
The map features only two perks - Speed Cola and Juggernog. The two perks lay against the wall, facing one another.
Ultimately, there is no way to survive this map in the end. The player will die no matter what, whether it be via the Pit, Pendulum, or Zombies themselves. The player must survive as long as possible until they learn to accept this fact.

The weapons available on this map are rather limited. The Mystery Box does appear, but it only features two types of weapons for each weapon class.

Trivia
- The map is entirely based upon Edgar Allan Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum."
- The main character does not mention his own name at all, but his official name is dubbed as "Salvadore."
- Originally, the map was going to feature an option to "End it" to represent the certainty of Salvadore's death. However, public outcry caused the map makers to remove it swiftly before release.
