Mathias Wassaykeesic is a Native American of the Ojibwe White Earth band located in northwestern Minnesota. Though, he, and many of his Native American family, considers himself half-Native American since only his father was Native American.
During his childhood in the White Earth Indian reservation, he spent most of his time with his father on hunting trips and was off-reserve for most of them. Because of this, he also became a very skilled tracker; on one of his hunting trips, he sustained a scratch across his right cheek by a black bear at the age of 16.
Appearance
Mathias has a black Mohawk and a scar on his right cheek; inflicted by a black bar. He wears a black shirt under Kevlar with black jeans.
Personality
Despite being half-Native American, Mathias has an accent and can speak fluent Ojibwe. As a skilled tracker, he is often sought after by many to track animals and sometimes people, though the latter is rare as he dislikes doing so. He is also very quiet around others and does not socialize much, but is not afraid to speak up if anyone speaks wrong of him; this is especially evident towards Charles Davenport III.
