Last Hand is an Ancient Specialized Weapon Variant introduced in Call of Duty: Retribution. Originally given to Vessa as a gift from her wife Elena, it was eventually taken by The Outrider who had killed Vessa during an Awoken prison outbreak, though Elena was able to reclaim it after hunting him down, after of which she passed it on to Ruby Rose. Years later, she would reclaim it back from Ruby as a personal request, whom granted it. Elena now uses it as her personal weapon, to honour Vessa's memory.
In order to unlock the weapon for use in Call of Duty: Retribution, players will need to complete its Ancient Specialized Weapon Variant Challenge:
- Obtain 250 kills using Le Monarquè
- Obtain 250 kills using The Vow
This weapon can also be Masterworked by completing its Masterwork Challenge which requires players to complete two objectives:
- Obtain 40 kills while the Falling Apart perk is triggered.
- Obtain 40 kills while the Revenge perk is triggered.
Features
Weapon Perks
- Reunited
Reunited is more of a support-focused Weapon Perk as it allows nearby allies to regenerate their health much faster than normal. The radius that allies need to be within in order to trigger the Perk's effects is 6 meters. The effect will be active as long as there is an ally within that 6 meter radius and does not have a cooldown between triggers.
Once Masterworked, this Perk's ally health regeneration effects are much quicker.
- Falling Apart
Falling Apart is a negative Weapon Perk. If there are any allies nearby using Last Hand, if they are not within 6 meters of you, you and that ally will take increased damage from all enemies and players. This effect will be active if you or that ally are not within the 6 meter radius and does not have a cooldown between triggers.
Once Masterworked, this Perk's ally radius is increased to 8 meters.
- Revenge
Revenge is an offense-focused Weapon Perk. If any allies nearby using Last Hand is killed, you are granted faster health regeneration and Last Hand gains increased damage. This effect has an active duration of 10 seconds; the duration can be reset if an ally nearby using Last Hand is killed. This effect has no cooldown between triggers.
Once Masterworked, this Perk grants even faster health regeneration and provides an increased 20% damage.
Attachments
The Last Hand gains access to several SWV-specific Attachments once the weapon has been Masterworked. Only two Attachments can be equipped at a time. Only one Barrel Attachment can be equipped at a time.
- AP-FMJ Rounds - Increased armour, barrier and wall penetration.
- Extended Chamber - Increased chamber capacity.
- Long Barrel - Increased base range.
- Heavy Barrel - Increased damage over longer ranges.
Trivia
- The console codename hints that the Last Hand was originally meant to be a weapon mod or a second version of Ace of Spades.
- The Reprised Ace of Spades was originally required for this weapon's SWV Challenge, however in a patch, it was removed and instead required the Reprisals for Le Monarquè and The Vow.
