The Mode

Hunger Games is a sub-mode of Call of Duty: Undead Warfare II's Battle Royale mode. It takes large inspiration from The Hunger Games series.

Mechanics

Hunger Games has three ways of play that can be selected from the main menu. There's Solo, if you wish to take on all 23 of the other players on your own. Duos where you'll be randomly assigned a partner and the two of you take on the remaining 22 players. Or Uneasy Alliance which is similar to Quads, however once it's down to the final four players in one squad, the four must turn on each other and last of those four wins. Like the book series, your character will be one of 12 male characters or one of 12 female characters from the CoD series. Each time the player plays a match, the arena will change and will be one of seven locations from the CoD series. Random events can also occur through out the match. What these events are will be determined by the randomly selected "Game Keeper". Unlike the traditional Battle Royale, the lobby will be an underground bunker and the game will start by raising the players on a pedestal into the map, rather than dropping in. All 24 players will be spawned in surrounding a sort of cornucopia in the center of the map with a small amount of weapons, armor, health, and ammo. Players can find other useful items throughout the map. Depending on how well the player is doing in the match everyone will receive a supply drop on their position at random points within the match. If the player is doing poorly, they will receive higher value items, where as if the player is doing very well, not so rare items will be given. Once every game about halfway through, the cornucopia will restock with common to find items.
