The Frostbite Zombie is a new type of zombie featured in Expedition of the Deathwish storyline by EternalBlaze and Interceptor7.

Overview

Frostbite zombies replace the crawler zombies introduced in Kino der Toten. Instead of blowing up after being shot, the frostbite zombies will instantly freeze, if the players get within a certain radius, and will explode in a ball of ice. This will not affect other zombies, to the players' dismay, but can down a player if they are too close. Also, if a frostbite zombie explodes next to a perk machine or utility, the utility will be frozen for one round.

Unlike crawler zombies, frostbite zombies do not just appear after the power is turned on. They will appear once round 7 begins, and will continue to respawn after that. As rounds progress and get higher, frostbite zombies are seen more and more commonly.

Appearance

Frostbite zombies are notably more pale, whiter, and partly snow covered than the usual zombie. Also, they are clad in Group 935 solder armor, which is something the normal zombies do not wear.
