For the upgrades that can be put on the Bus, see Bus.
Buildables are items that the players can craft. They were introduced in Green Run, and feature in all subsequent maps.
The player can only hold one built item at a time, as they are generally placed in the equipment slot.
Parts
Parts are the smaller items that are conjoined used to create the buildables. Parts do not have specific locations and are randomized every game. The only unique part, the Zombie hand, is the only part that must be obtained by doing something other than searching, which is gibbing a zombie and picking up their hand.
Buildables
Green Run
- Turbine - A simple fan-like item that is a source of power and distraction to zombies.
- Zombie Shield - A weapon similar to an Assault Shield that pushes zombies far if hit. It can also serve as a shield to protect a player's rear and can be placed on the ground.
- Turret - A Sentry Gun-like device that fires at zombies, but can damage the player. It requires a Turbine to work.
- Electric Trap - A placeable trap that will damage any zombies the pass through it. It requires a Turbine to work.
- Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 - A Wonder Weapon that sucks in zombies and gibs them with it's rotors.
- Power Switch - Necessary for turning on the power.
- Pack-a-Punch Machine - Allows the player to upgrade their weapons.
- NAV Table - Seemingly plays a part in a huge cross-map easter egg.
Die Rise
- Trample Steam - A piece of equipment that flings enemies and the player.
- Sliquifier - A Wonder Weapon that fires purple goo that disintergrates hit enemies and makes other enemies, and the player, slide around on the excess.
- NAV Table - Seemingly plays a part in a huge cross-map easter egg.
Mob of the Dead
- Zombie Shield - Identical to the Green Run variant, although it has undergone a slight design change, replacing a car door with a cell door.
- Acid Gat Kit - Allows you to upgrade the Blundergat to the Acid Gat, or The Sweeper to the Vitriolic Withering.
- Icarus - An improvised aircraft that is vital to reaching the Pack-a-Punch Machine.
